Esker Launches New Version of FlyDoc

Madison, WI. – Esker, the leader in document process automation solutions, today announced plans to unveil its newest version of FlyDoc, the online mail and fax service, at the CNIT Documentation Tradeshow in Paris on March 17 and 18. 

A pay-per-use SaaS solution, FlyDoc allows users to send single or large volumes of documents such as letters, invoices, salary bulletins or marketing mail in just a few clicks — conveniently, right from the desktop. The documents are sent via a secure internet connection to an Esker production center where they are processed and sent in the format chosen by the user. FlyDoc makes sending documents extremely simple, placing cutting-edge infrastructure and technology into the hands of the everyday user.

Users and administrators will benefit from more functionality and flexibility in the new version, including:

• Enhanced functionalities to improve productivity          

1. Create sending scenarios for documents always sent using the same parameters by setting up a new virtual printer or new sending method
2. Simplified contact management for faster contact importing and more flexible address composition and organization  
3. Address block flexibility to reposition the address block without going back to the original document
4. Simplified interface/easier navigation with more options available directly from the welcome screen including how-to tutorials and online help

• More administration control       

The new version of FlyDoc also includes a more powerful security policy for better management of profiles. Administrators can specify submission and sending options for a profile, set up password and session policies, and authorize IP addresses.        

• Inbound fax numbers available for over 40 countries

FlyDoc lets customers choose local and toll-free fax numbers in over 3,000 geographic zones worldwide, including Germany, Australia, Canada, China, United States, India, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore and others. The inbound fax numbers are available in one click, directly in the FlyDoc interface, allowing customers to receive faxes by email without a fax server or fax machine.    

A new version of the FlyDoc website (www.flydoc.com) will also be available for the launch with the addition of how-to tutorials and new sections tailored to specific document types, such as invoices and reminder letters.

FlyDoc rates start at $0.24 for postal mail (not including postage) and $0.10 for fax. Prepaid packs are available starting at $10 with no subscription requirements or startup costs.
