Telecom Collection Specialist DCI Opens West Coast Office, Certified as Woman-Owned Business

Diversified Consultants, Inc., headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla. and one of the only telecom-specific collection agencies in the United States, is having its most productive year ever.  In the month of July alone Diversified Consultants, Inc. (DCI) accomplished three major milestones in its quest to become one of the nation’s top agencies.

The highlight of these accomplishments came in early July when DCI became a member of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council as a certified woman owned business.

Charlotte Zehnder, CEO and majority owner of DCI, said, “DCI is very proud of its status as a woman owned corporation. It means a lot to our family and organization that this goal could be accomplished. This certification will open many doors with potential and existing clients and will aid them in meeting their women and minority owned vendor initiatives.”

One week later, DCI completed the appropriate security measures and elements required to become PCI DDS Certified. While DCI has been compliant with PCI requirements for over two years, the company has officially received its certification for the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

Trip Mitchell, Director of IT, said, “With great work and commitment from our executives and IT staff, we were able to complete the certification verifying that DCI is compliant with all PCI DSS requirements.  Our commitment to vendor and consumer data security is a major step for DCI as it is now the precedent in the security of taking credit card payments in our industry.”

With construction completed, at the end of the month DCI will finally realize a long time dream: opening a west coast location.  Portland, Ore. will be the site of DCI West and will house approximately 250 full time employees. Opening a location on the west coast provides major opportunities with increased call time and geographical diversity.  The expansion also will aid in disaster recovery and redundancy.

With many of DCI’s major clients being located on the west coast and a large portion of their existing and potential volume allocations residing in the western time region, the opening of this office will increase their exposure and efficiency while adding a viable backup to their corporate office located in Jacksonville, Florida, while at the same time bringing valuable jobs to the wonderful city of Portland.
