Stacey Schacter is CEO and General Counsel of Boston-based EMCC, Inc., a large national purchaser, servicer and collector of receivables. He is also Of Counsel with the Cincinnati law firm of Statman, Harris & Bardach, LLC and has practiced in the areas of debtor/creditor law, corporate acquisitions and financings, banking law, bankruptcy law, commercial law, corporate restructuring and commercial purchases from insolvent debtors.
A graduate of Miami University, Stacey received his J.D. degree from Ohio State University in 1988 when he was also admitted to the Ohio State bar. He was also admitted to practice before the U.S Supreme Court in 1992. He is a member of the American Bar Association and its Business Law Committee, as well as certain subcommittees.
