Kennon Walthall currently serves as President of Revenue Discovery Systems (RDS) (AlaTax, Inc. in the state of Alabama), a provider of revenue administration, revenue discovery/recovery, aged receivables management and compliance auditing for cities, counties and state agencies in the Southeast. He oversees all operations and sales efforts. Since becoming President in late 2001, sales have grown over 400% and profits have increased over 600%.
Before RDS, Kennon served as Vice President of Business Development at Nationtax. Nationtax developed the concept and strategically implemented a service for businesses that acted as a single point of filing and payment across all state and federal governments.
Kennon graduated cum laude from Washington and Lee University.
Kennon serves as a Public Affairs Research Council of Alabama (PARCA) Roundtable member and Executive Committee member and was Chairman in 2004. He is also an active member of Independent Presbyterian Church and Board Member of Studio by the Tracks. He currently lives in the Birmingham, AL area with his wife, Ann, and their three children.
