Accounts receivable management firm Gila Corporation today announced several executive leadership changes and appointments including a new president.

Bruce Cummings has been appointed President of Gila Corporation. He previously served as the company’s Chief Marketing Officer. Cummings will be responsible for the company’s sales, marketing and business development activities. He will also lead Gila’s government collections unit, Municipal Services Bureau (MSB). He will continue to report to Gila CEO Patrick J. Swanick.

Austin, Texas-based Gila has about 300 employees and focuses on ARM and business process outsourcing (BPO) services for government and financial clients.

“Our Company’s continued growth is a testament to the high satisfaction levels of our clients, our ethical collections practices and the contributions of our professional staff, who consistently execute better than our competition,” said Swanick in a press release.  “Our executive team has overseen many accomplishments and these new roles and responsibilities will position us for further success.”

In addition to naming a new president, Gila announced the following executive appointments:

  • Domenick F. Riccio adds the title of Senior Vice President of MSB and maintains his current role as the Company’s Chief Information Officer.
  • Med Fadel has been named Chief State Officer and Senior Vice President of Key Accounts.  In his new role, Med will focus on the Texas Department of Public Safety client and the administration of the Driver Responsibility Program for the State of Texas.
  • Barbara Fugler has been named Vice President, and she retains her role as the Company’s Controller
  • Jason Schmer continues in his role as Director of Collections Support for Gila Group, serving the outsourced collections needs of credit union clients.  Jason will now report to the CEO
