Collection Agency Not on Vacation When it Comes to Charity

American Profit Recovery, a collection agency based in Michigan, Massachusetts and North Carolina, is earnest when they promise clients, “You Will Profit from Our Difference.”  The debt recovery team is an avid supporter of charitable events and programs and strives to find fun ways to get employees involved in giving back to communities to make a positive impact on people’s lives.

For the second year in a row, the team at this collection agency participated in the ‘Summer Charities of Choice’ initiative. This internal endeavor encouraged employees to nominate charities close to their hearts. Employees raised money for the nominated causes by paying for casual dress days, participating in raffles and other fundraising efforts.

At the end of the summer they raised over $1400 and donated to 12 charities.

Employees nominated charities that were important to them due to a family member who may have been affected by a disease or other personal reasons. APR donated $100 to each of the following organizations: American Cancer Society Relay for Life, Brain Tumor Foundation (nominated by two employees), Good Samaritan Hospital Emergency Room Fund, Greyhound Friends, Junior League of Boston, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (nominated by two employees), Michigan Walk n’ Roll for ALS, MUSC Hollings Cancer Center, Muscular Dystrophy Association (nominated by two employees), Noah’s Lost Ark and the Ronald McDonald House.
