Austin, Texas – Municipal Services Bureau (MSB) has teamed up with Texas jurisdictions throughout the state to remind people with outstanding warrants to pay off their outstanding fines while they still have a chance. The process, known as “Warrant Round-Up,” allows individuals a 3 week grace period before constables in each participating jurisdiction begin knocking on doors and enforcing the warrants. MSB collects on delinquent court fines and fees throughout the state of Texas and nationwide.

MSB has already begun sending letter notifications to defendants as a reminder of any unresolved fines. The Roundup starts on March 7th so defendants with outstanding fines still have time to resolve their obligations before facing the threat of arrest.

“We are hoping defendants will pay off any remaining balances before the annual statewide Round-Up begins. If you receive a letter or a phone call from us, please take advantage of the opportunity to clear you name while you still have the chance,” says Patrick J. Swanick, MSB’s Chief Executive Officer.

MSB will continue to collect on all cases in a delinquent status to increase compliance for the courts. “We are trying to help both the courts and the defendants by facilitating the process of bringing these cases to closure, “said Swanick.
