Executive Change: Northland Group Welcomes David Cherner as Chief Compliance Officer

Northland Group, Inc., headquartered in Edina, MN, is pleased to announce that David Cherner has recently joined the company as chief compliance officer.

Cherner will be responsible for managing Northland’s comprehensive compliance management system, including driving the company’s overall compliance strategy and vendor management program as the legal landscape for the credit and collection industry continues to evolve.

Cherner worked at ACA International from 2007-2012 where he served as corporate counsel and director of state government affairs, and was an ACA Certified Instructor. Cherner recently served as Compliance Director for Rels Valuation, one of the largest appraisal management companies in the country, where he was responsible for management and testing of operational compliance and execution of the company’s government affairs objectives. He is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
