Glasser and Glasser Send Attorney "Over the Edge" in Support of the Make a Wish Foundation

Saturday March 14, 2013 marked the 2nd annual Over the Edge event at 300 Main Street in Norfolk, VA in support of the Make a Wish Foundation of Greater Virginia. The Make a Wish Foundation strives to grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich their lives, hope, strength and joy.

The event began at 8:00 a.m. and lasted until approximately 2:00 p.m.  Over 30 volunteers, each of which raised a minimum of $1,500, accepted the challenge of rappelling (with professional assistance) over a downtown Norfolk office building.

Among the participants was Mark Groves, an attorney with Glasser and Glasser, P.L.C., event sponsor.  With the assistance of staff fundraisers and employee contributions Glasser raised $1,728 for the foundation. That day over $22,000.00 was raised on behalf of the Make a Wish Foundation. Several Glasser staff members participated as volunteers and many contributors also stopped by to witness the event.
