This July, Shermeta, Adams & Von Allmen, P.C. reached a landmark anniversary, celebrating 40 years in business.

Beginning in 1973, founder Douglass Shermeta concentrated in the area of creditor’s rights, including collections and bankruptcy. His efforts in representing commercial and consumer creditors built the trust that retains many of the firm’s early clients tod­­­­­­­­ay.

The firm now specializes in the practice areas of Bankruptcy Law, Commercial Creditor’s Rights, Consumer Creditor’s Rights, Real Property, Remedies for Creditors, Litigation in the Prosecution of Creditor’s Rights, Litigation in the Defense of Creditor’s Rights, Collection Industry Defense, and National Bankruptcy Servicing.
