Array Services Group Adopts Minnesota Highway

Array Services Group (Array), a leader in Revenue Cycle and Accounts Receivable Management and Call Center Solutions, adopts a Minnesota highway as part of Minnesota’s Adopt a Highway Program; a public service program for volunteers to pick up litter along Minnesota’s highways. In adopting the approximately two mile stretch of road on County Road 29 near the Highway 10 exchange in Sartell, Array made a two year commitment of service to the program. Employees will volunteer to pick up litter on both sides of the highway as often as is needed spring through fall.

“I was humbled, though not surprised, by the number of employees that wanted to volunteer their time on a Saturday. I had to ask people to wait until the fall clean-up to participate,” said Cally Christensen, Array’s Adopt a Highway organizer and volunteer coordinator. “We’re excited to be making a difference in our community.”

On June 8, Christensen led a group of 30 Array employees and their families on the company’s first clean-up. They were joined by company founder and CEO, Jim Christensen, and for several hours they spread out and picked up everything from cigarette butts to tires and drywall along the highway.

“I was surprised by all of the different things we found as we picked up trash along the road,” said Jim Christensen. “It was an important reminder to me just how necessary these types of programs are.”

In addition to the orange safety vests and trash bags provided by the Minnesota Department of Transportation, Array employees sported custom “Go Green” T-shirts to show their unified support of the program and their community. The outing concluded with lunch at a local restaurant; a show of appreciation by Mr. Christensen for everyone’s efforts. A 3’x5’ highway sign posted along the highway recognizes the group’s commitment.
