Collect Canada Hosts First Annual Alliance Summit

Collect Canada Ltd., a leader in the Canadian debt purchasing industry, hosted its first annual alliance summit last week in Toronto, Ontario. The two-day event brought together the group of independent agencies in the alliance from as far as British Columbia and Nova Scotia. 

Derek Beaudoin, Collect Canada’s director of operations, said, “This is an exciting time for the Collect Canada alliance. Our innovative model of independent operators in a national alliance brings together the efficiencies of large agencies with the entrepreneurial flare of smaller firms. We’re confident that this model is the new vanguard of the collection industry in Canada.”

High profile presenters at the conference included Trans Union Canada, TCN Broadcasting, Score Statistical Consulting, Mortgage Central, Phoenix Capital Resources, Collect! by Comtech, Touchstar Software and Collect Canada’s parent company, Collect America.

The event was closed with a keynote address from noted speaker and collection training guru Tim Paulsen.
